Ordering & Returns Policy
The following constitutes an agreement between you and Carver Racks, LLC ("CSR" or "we" or "us"). Please review the following terms and conditions concerning your use of carverracks.com ("Website"). By accessing, using and/or placing an order from the Website, you agree to follow and be bound by these terms and conditions (these “Terms” or this “Agreement”). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Website.
1. PAYMENT METHODS
We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. All prices are in United States Dollars (USD). COD orders are not accepted. This store only accepts online orders. Orders cannot be placed by telephone, postal mail, email or Fax. We do not accept credit card information sent by email, and discourage you to do this.
The billing address you provide must match the billing address that is on file with the financial institution that issued the credit card. If a credit card authorization fails, we reserve the right to cancel your order without notifying you. We cannot resolve credit card problems with your financial institution if a credit card is declined. It is your responsibility, as a consumer, to settle credit card problems with the issuing institution.
2. SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES
When you check out, you can view the shipping and handling charges for your order. In the case that shipping and handling charges exceed the amount shown, we will notify you. The state or province may require tax to be applied to shipping and handling charges.
CSR offers $5 domestic shipping on racks, and we reserve the right to choose the shipping method used.
3. CUSTOMS DUTIES
CSR includes a commercial invoice with all international orders. Your country's customs department may charge a duty or tax on your shipment, and you a responsible for paying these fees. If your package is returned to us due to failure to pay customs duties or taxes, you are responsible for all outgoing and return shipping costs.
4. RETURNING MERCHANDISE
You can return new, unused items in the original packaging for a full refund within 30 days after delivery. Item must be in new, salable condition including all internal zip ties and internal shrink wrap. Items that cannot be resold will not be refunded, and you will be responsible for paying shipping costs to return the item to you. You will need to pay for shipping if the return is not due to a defect.
If an item shipped to you for free, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If the return is due to defective products or inaccurate product descriptions, you will be provided with a shipping label for the return shipping.
Please note: If you tried to mount the rack on your bike or moped, we will not accept a return. Items MUST be in unused condition.
To initiate a return, contact CSR customer service on our contact form. Refunds will be applied to the purchasing credit card within 5 to 10 days of the date that the return is received by CSR.
5. SALES TAX
Tax will be applied to your order if it is delivered from the same state or province as your shipping address. Some areas require tax to be assessed on shipping and handling charges.
6. REFUNDS, CREDITS AND BALANCES DUE
As soon as we receive and process your return, we will notify you via email. Your credit card should be credited within 15 business days of the time that you receive this email. The return credit should be reflected on your statement within one or two billing periods, depending on your financial institution’s billing cycle.
7. TIMING OF BILLING/SHIPPING
Your credit card is authorized at checkout. If this authorization is not successful you will be notified at checkout and can use another card or payment type. If authorization is successful, your funds are captured immediately, and you will be sent an order confirmation email. We then check the order with a fraud and ID theft security system. If approved your order is shipped and you will receive a confirmation email containing a tracking number. We strive to ship all orders within one business day. Please note that expedited shipping options, such as "Next Day Air" and 2nd Day Air" do not guarantee the timeframe within which you will receive your order.

8. DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If an order arrives to you with obvious shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please photograph the damage immediately and contact CSR at [email protected] .
Please save all packaging material and paperwork for the order if shipping damage is a possible issue. If you dispose of packaging material or attempt to return the merchandise without contacting us, we may not be able to file a claim, and you may not receive credit for the return.
A defective item is one that is inoperable but has no apparent damage. If you receive defective merchandise, please contact CSR customer service at [email protected] .
9. LIMITS OF RESPONSIBILITY
CSR accepts no responsibility for user-initiated damage and/or loss of parts incurred during operation or use of product.
10. PRICE AND/OR DESCRIPTION CHANGES
All prices, pictures, and descriptions on this website are subject to change. CSR maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies.
When you place your order with CSR, you agree to the price and terms indicated on this website. Price differences related to future or past prices in our store or any other store are not refundable.
11. ERRORS ON OUR SITE
Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where and when discovered.
If an item ordered is out of stock, you will receive an email detailing the item in question and how to proceed.
CSR reserves the right to revoke any stated offer, cancel orders, and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions in any stated offer or price, including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment processed.
If your payment has already been processed for the purchase when your order is cancelled, we will issue a credit to the payment method used in the amount of the charge.
